Fiddelium is the Nanaimo Fiddle Society’s premier youth string ensemble, designed for committed young musicians ages 12 to 19 who are passionate about fiddle and folk traditions and eager to grow as performers, collaborators, and leaders.

Folk band is a vibrant, multi-generational community music program that welcomes players of all skill levels and ages—from 6 to 80+—into a supportive, ensemble-based learning environment. With a focus on fiddle and folk traditions, the program invites musicians to explore harmonized group playing, build musical confidence, and experience the joy of collaborative performance.
