Fiddelium 2024-25
Fiddelium is a vibrant ensemble for young string players aged 12-19, fostering musical growth through exciting public performances. From intimate senior homes to the grand stage of the Port Theatre, Fiddelium delivers fun and accessible music for all. Develop your skills with weekly rehearsals, including sectionals for senior members, and private lessons.
Age: 12-19
Junior Option: For the first year, members are junior members, pay a reduced rate and are only study a potion of the repertoire.
Instruments: violin and other bowed strings
Pre-requisite: Audition
Co-requisite: Weekly private lessons & Nanaimo Fiddle Society Membership
Rehearsals:
- JUNIOR FIDDELIUM - 5:30 to 6:45pm PLUS 7-7:30pm weekly
- FIDDELIUM - 7pm to 8:30pm weekly plus monthly sectionals
Fees: Are split into two terms, payable in September and January.
